Sports Car Modeling

This sports car model I made when I was at the beginning of my modeling career. I have made many mistakes in the modeling process. Some have corrected and some not. Finally, this model is significantly different from the sports car that was used as a prominent example.

The first thing, I did a search on the Internet for blueprints. When I found the blueprints for the side view, front view, top and back views, and I put them in my program for 3d modeling (3ds Max, etc..). Each blueprint I put in a special plane and they served as a reference for my model. Previously, if the blueprints cars do not have equal corresponding dimensions need to be edited in one of the photo editing programs (Photoshop, etc.).. Thus, the length of the car on each blueprint must be the same, width and height too.

When the reference blueprints are set, I began the process of modeling in the way that I first drew a small plain, convert it to an editable poly, so I copied edges and periodically adjusted vertex  according to the blueprints.

First I modeled the right side of sports car. When it was fully modeled I just used the Mirror command (Copy) and weld vertex.

Very Easy Furniture Modeling

In this post, you will learn to use the command Box, ChamferBox, to modify the box and to use the proper materials and proper lighting.
Let me show you how to easily and quickly model furniture.
First, we will model the armchair.
In this post, you will learn to use the Extended primitives, to edit them, edit polygons and to apply materials and lights and to renders.
First, go to Create, select Extended Primitives and use ChamferBox.
Give specific dimensions and cube radius of curvature.
The length of 1 m, width 1 m, and thickness of 0.3 meters.
Curvature radius of 0.1 m, also called Chamfer radius.
The dimensions alone can choose, it is important that it look good and in proportion
See the movie.

How to Model a Chair

This video shows how to model a chair in a simple manner. It was made on the basis of previous post Simple Chair Modeling. Here you can learn how to convert a rectangle and box in to editable poly, and how to modify polygons. Also you can learn to use modifiers extrude, hinge from edge, turbosmooth, copy, rotate and move objects.

Simple Chair Modeling

Simple Chair Model

First I drew a rectangle than rounded edges to it.
I converted it, to editable poly.
The obtained editable poly, I modified so that I extrude his side polygons.
I further modified the polygons so that I hinged them from edge for 60 degrees than extruded polygons so I got the legs are shown in Fig.

Following I copied these two legs, adding two cylinders to connect legs.
Similarly to legs, I did construction for the back and I got the following…

Simple Chair Model

I drew a box with the two segments in length, width and height
I converted it to editable poly which I modified so I moved a bid, the side polygons.
On obtained form, I applied Turbosmoth modifier.
So I got a seat.
I copied the seat and rotate it and I got the back.
For applying materials and lights there will be another post.
